Tutti Rouge Lingerie - Sexy Underwear for Larger Busted Ladies

If you have a fuller bust like many women then you may have problems getting bras to fit you on the high street. Or you may find bras to fit but they may be old fashioned and not pretty or stylish. Luckily things are changing and there are a few lingerie companies out there catering to the fuller busted woman. Let's have a look at one such company, called Tutti Rouge. This is an advertorial in conjunction with Tutti Rouge.

Who are Tutti Rouge?

blush body

The concept of Tutti Rouge started in 2012 with the idea of creating a sexy lingerie company for bigger busted women and in 2013 the online store was born. Their expertise is in the DD cup and above and they design wearing comfortable and sexy underwear for the gorgeously curvy women out there.

Tuttie Rouge wishlist

bralette

There are so many lovely items on the website that I had difficulty in choosing my favourites but chose I had to for this blog post! One of my favourite items is the Hallie bralette above. The Hallie bralette is absolutely stunning in this bright red colour. Now bralettes only offer light support but this bralette has a deep underband and adjustable straps to offer comfort and support in the lacy design. Team with the Hallie high waisted brief for a lovely matching set.

Gia Bralette

My next choice for my Tutti Rouge wishlist is this Gia bralette. What I love about this is the Ocean Wave colour, and light lace detailing perfect for summer days. The pull over design means it is easy to put on and get off and the support under the band makes it lightly supportive and comfortable too. It also matches with the Francine thong for a gorgeous matching set.

My next choice is the Eva body in mink. I just adore this design, it's so beautiful in the light blush colour. I also think it's incredibly sexy. Whether you want to feel sexy for yourself or for a partner, I think you can do no wrong with the Eva body in sheer spot mesh with panels of lace, the underband gives support and there is no visible panty line either.

What I like about Tutti Rouge, is that they use women to model their underwear that have real curves and don't have perfect bodies. After all, most of us don't have perfect bodies, so it is so nice to see us represented on a lingerie site.

Postage is £3.50 in the UK which I feel is a realistic price and if you are a student they also offer a 15% discount which is great!

As you can see Tutti Rouge has some pretty designs. Prices are reasonable too, and they have regular sales. If you like the designs, why not check out the Tutti Rouge website for fuller bust lingerie

3 Tips to Make Your Home More Welcoming

Anyone would love to have an inviting and cosy place to come home to. Home is where you are sure that you are always welcomed by a comfortable atmosphere and would not want to be anywhere else. It is your haven, and you can’t wait to get back, no matter where you are in the world. It should be where family members can enjoy bonding with one another at the end of the day.

Fortunately, there are various ways that you can create that cosy atmosphere at home. You can even make use of top-quality fabric from Dalston Mill Fabrics for some home decor projects such as fabric-covered lampshades, throws, cushion covers, and other home decor furnishings for a personalised touch. It is your home, and you want your guests to see a little bit of who you are with your creations.

Here are more tips to make your home pleasant and welcoming.

Go for quality furnishing

The furniture you have at home is essential in making it welcoming and comfortable. It can be challenging to have family members or even guests enjoy your living space if your furniture is worn-out and uncomfortable. You may also experience back pains and other issues when your couch and beds that are not comfortable. Since your furniture plays a significant role in your living space, it is best to invest in quality furnishings that are long-lasting, comfy, and appealing to the eyes. A welcoming home is a well-decorated and pleasant home, so stylish furniture will make a lot of difference in enhancing the overall appearance of your home’s interior.

Maintain neatness and cleanliness

A well-organised and neat home can quickly transform into a welcoming environment for its residents and people who come to visit. It is aesthetically appealing and beneficial for your overall well-being. There is a tranquil atmosphere in a place that is clean and free from clutter. A tidy home has a way of making everyone feel good as it improves your mood. Studies show that clutter and mess can be stressful and keeps you from focusing on whatever you should be doing. Additionally, dust and dirt particles that build up inside the home can cause respiratory problems and allergies. Regular cleaning, decluttering and organising ensure that your home is the healthy environment you want to be in.

Give it a soft touch

A home environment is cosier when you add cushions, rugs, and other soft items into every room. Layered textures and comfy throw pillows are inviting and make you feel nice and snug. Faux rugs are an excellent addition not only to the living room area but in bedrooms as well. There is nothing more comfortable than having your bare feet step on a soft rug after a long day at work. Finally, add some pretty fabric on chairs and other empty surfaces to create that homey feeling you are looking to achieve in your living space.

A home that is welcoming and cosy is a joy for everyone who lives there. Use your creativity to create an environment of tranquillity and warmth for you and your family members. Your guests will also love every minute they spend in your home.

How to Choose The Right Aesthetician Clinic for You

As medical and aesthetic technologies and treatments advance, it is easier than ever to address your appearance. Many people have things that they perceive as flaws or things that they want to fix, and the fact of the matter is that it is possible to fix them now. Historically, people had to simply live with the face they were born with, but living with these perceived flaws today can be extremely detrimental to many people’s mental health. As it is easier and more accessible than ever to have these flaws taken care of, why not do it?

If you are contemplating having a cosmetic procedure, it is crucial that you pick the right clinic. Choosing the wrong clinic can leave you feeling like you've wasted money or, in the worst case, even make your problem worse. Read on for some tips to help you choose the best clinic for you.

Quotes

doctor
There are so many clinics that you can choose from, so shop around. Get quotes and compare prices between clinics; this can give you a good idea of the average price for the procedure that you want. It may be tempting to go for the clinic that offers you the lowest price, but that is a bad idea - after all, you get what you pay for.

Before and After Photos

You should never be nervous to ask for examples of their work. When you are getting your quotes, ask them to provide some examples of the same procedure that you want doing. This can give you an idea of the competence of the clinician performing the procedures. Do not rely on the website images as they can be older or a compilation of work by all the clinicians; you want to see your clinician's previous work.

Patience

Undergoing an aesthetic treatment is a big deal; it can be anxiety-inducing. The clinician that you choose should be patient enough to discuss all your concerns with you. You need to feel totally comfortable talking with your clinician about all of your qualms and questions and be able to address them in a way that satisfies you.

Recommendations

doctor

There are a few different ways that you can source recommendations for clinics. Firstly, word of mouth can be extremely useful as often you receive these from people you know well, and so you can see the clinics work up close. You can also ask them about their experience. Online reviews can be helpful, although as you cannot verify their claims, and so they should be taken with a pinch of salt. Finally, there are awards; external bodies rewarding clinics can show the calibre of their work. For example, the Pico Clinic has won several awards and accolades for its work in aesthetic medicine.

In Conclusion

The choice of a clinic can make or break your experience of cosmetic treatments by directly impacting the care that you receive. If you are looking for an aesthetic procedure, research is key. You also need to be sure that you are going into it for the right reasons. Is it something that you truly want?

How to Raise a Resilient Child

Resilience allows us to pick ourselves back up after setbacks and gives us the courage to try again. Children need to learn resilience in order to get through life’s ups and downs and will benefit from the ability to bounce back after adversity or disappointment. As a parent, your primary role is to care for and nurture your child, yet it is also important to teach them how to face some problems independently and to give them the tools to help manage stress and keep calm under pressure. An independent school in London has shared the following advice for parents looking to help their child become more resilient.

Don’t Overprotect

Accommodating every need or worry your child faces actually only fuels their anxiety as they never learn to face adversity or overcome a problem. One example of this could be a child who is reluctant to try new food. By only serving them the meals they are uncomfortable with you aren't giving them the opportunity to push themselves out of their comfort zone. A little bit of discomfort isn't always a bad thing, once your child has overcome an obstacle they were apprehensive about they will learn that taking risks and trying new things isn't as daunting as they might have imagined.

Allow Them To Fail

Failure is never a nice thing, but learning to fail and try again anyway is a really important life skill. If you allow your child to win at every board game you play or score every goal in the back garden penalty shoot-out, the chances are they will take it pretty badly when things eventually don’t go their way. Teaching your child that they can’t win at everything all the time will help them to deal with failure better, meaning over time they will find it easier to move on after a setback.

Help Manage Emotions

child crying
Teaching a child to manage their emotions in a healthy way is an important foundation for building resilience. Allow your child to express their feelings and give them a sympathetic ear, but also establish what is an appropriate reaction and what isn’t. If your child tends to respond to upsets by throwing tantrums or lashing out, you should give them time to calm down and then try to put the situation into perspective and help them to look for solutions to the cause of their problem. This teaches them that even when things are tough, they can still look for ways to make things better.

Helping Your Child Develop Critical Thinking Skills

Critical thinking helps children to navigate and make sense of the world around them. Encouraging creative thinking makes your child a more ambitious learner and helps them to be more independent and self-reliant as they will be able to look to themselves for solutions.  An independent school in Oxfordshire has shared the following tips on how to help your child develop their critical thinking skills, read on to find out more.

world

Jumping in to rescue your child at the first sign they might be struggling with something might be instinctual as a parent, but unfortunately, this can teach kids to be overly dependent on you and could make them feel that they’re incapable of solving problems themselves.

Allowing your child to tackle a task independently will build their confidence and encourages them to use critical thinking to get the job done. They may not get it all right the first time but learning to use their imagination and intuition to try and tackle a problem is a priceless skill to develop.

Children asking questions about the world around them is a brilliant sign of intelligence and curiosity. To encourage them to think even deeper, try to respond to their questions by first asking them what they think the answer might be. If they ask why the sky is blue, first ask them what they think the answer is, and why.
It doesn’t really matter if the explanation they arrive at is right or wrong, the process of trying to figure it out will strengthen their critical thinking and encourages them to try and work things out independently before they look to others for answers.

children looking at bugs

You can of course give them the correct answer once they are done, just be sure to praise them for using their imagination to try and work it out.

Maybe they can think of where to look to find the answer, such as science-based websites aimed at kids or books they have at home or in the school library. As they get older they need to look at the sources of information and be able to assess if they are accurate and worthy. All information sources aren't equal and the difference between fact and fiction, objectivity and subjectivity could be discussed.

How To Combat Stress More Effectively With Self Care

Life comes with its pressures, taking a toll on your mental health. A mental health survey recently revealed that 74% of Brits experienced overwhelming stress in the last year that they couldn't cope with. If you wish to unwind and recharge consider taking better care of yourself mentally and physically. I know it's easier said than done but self-care is cost-effective and also reduces your stress levels. What's more, it limits your risk of depression and increases your happiness and satisfaction. So here are some practical self-care tips to consider to help combat stress with self-care.

Plan your dream vacation

Disney

Travelling helps you to relax and recharge your batteries for enhanced productivity. What's more, it exposes you to new experiences and cultures while increasing your happiness levels. At the moment it is difficult to travel for many of us, but travel agencies are saying people are planning for bucket list destinations for next year or the year after.  So why not decide on your dream destination for that bucket list vacation?  The act of dreaming, planning and anticipation is all part of the experience. It's as simple as drafting a budget to keep track of your spending and then putting money away regularly. If you plan this far in advance you can save yourself money and save up more.  While a solo trip would help you focus on yourself,  going with family or friends is another option to creating special memories together.

Prioritise sleep

A lack of sleep makes you irritable, tired and unproductive during the day. Moreover, a good night's sleep reduces your risks of developing chronic diseases while keeping you in a good mood, increasing your productivity and helping you communicate better with other people. Therefore, you must take measures to ensure a good night's sleep.

Firstly look at your sleep routine. and monitor when you fall asleep. By doing this you can look at any patterns in behaviour that could be affecting your sleep. Avoid caffeine and heavy food at night, try to exercise every day to make yourself tired (this can be as simple as walking for an hour a day) and avoid long daytime naps. At night give yourself at least an hour to wind down, turn off computers and your phone and try and relax by reading or taking a warm bath for example. Hopefully, these tips will help you sleep better.

Pamper yourself

If you wish to relieve stress and anxiety, then you should give yourself some TLC. Not only will you help your mental health, but you'll also boost your immunity and self-esteem.
If you have the money arrange a pedicure or massage regularly. However, you don't have to spend a fortune to pamper yourself. For instance, you can take a nice bubble bath, after which you show your skin some love by using good quality moisturiser all over.  However, understanding your skin type will help you decide on the proper skincare routine to adopt. Self-care isn't selfish, so spend time pampering yourself because you deserve love too.

Don't ignore exercise or your health

Your self-care routine wouldn't be complete without exercise. Not only does it control your weight and prevent obesity, but it also helps your body manage insulin and blood sugar levels. Moreover, it improves your self-confidence and increases your longevity. Now, your workout routine doesn't have to be tedious, as you can spice it up. For instance, you can hit the gym with your friends, go to a Zumba or line dancing class or have a dance party with your family. There's no rule stopping you from inventing your workouts, so unleash your creativity. The important this is to be consistent with your workout rout
ines to get the optimum results.

Aside from working out, you should also regularly visit your doctors. However, if you don't have doctors or a dentist yet, you can google a term like "dentist near me Kissimmee" or "physician near me", and it should provide a list of professionals that you can reach out to.

Your mental well-being determines your life’s quality, making it imperative to care for it. Hopefully, you'll consider these tips as you show yourself some love.

5 Ways Of Creating Original Travel Souvenirs

Do you love to travel like me? At the moment many of us are not travelling far but that means each holiday is far more precious than before. In these modern times, we often take photos that are left on our phones, maybe forgotten about. It's so easy to do this, isn't it? So what about creating some original souvenirs to remember those amazing travel experiences? Here are 5 ways of creating original travel souvenirs to remember the good times.

Personalised stickers

You may collect fridge magnets like me but you can create your own personalised stickers at the fraction of the cost. Fridge magnets can be so expensive, I think the most expensive one I own is from the Peabody hotel in Memphis and was eight dollars! So rather than collect them, consider making your own stickers instead of your own photos or colourful travel icons.  Check out how to make your own stickers here, and have a personalised way of remembering your travels.

Create a photobook

magazine
Creating a photo book is a great way of putting all your best photos into a book to display. It can easily be done these days online or with an app from your phone. This is a fantastic idea for special holidays too. Looking back on those memories are priceless. Check out my review of a Photo Book I created and read about how easy it was to do. You can even create a magazine style book for the coffee table.

Create a canvas

Creating a canvas is one way of remembering that great vacation. I created the canvas above with Canvas Champ and again it was surprisingly easy to do. If you see an iconic image on your travels, like a photo of the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower or New York skyline, why not take a photo yourself and use that for your own personalised canvas on your wall?

Journalling

journal

Journalling is a fantastic way of creating your own original travel souvenir and often gets forgotten about. Writing down your planning for the trip, as well as your thoughts and a diary each day, is a lovely way to document your holiday. You can even stick in postcards or other mementoes of your travels like plane or train tickets. Travel journals can be picked up relatively cheaply and reading all your travel stories back can be very evocative.

YouTube

Mel and Marcus photos

You don't have to be a digital expert to have a YouTube channel. My husband and I created Fly Drive Explore in 2016. At first, it was for our own travels to look back on. Now it's a growing channel that makes money on YouTube with a blog attached too. It's helpful if you have a video camera but a smartphone with video is perfectly fine to create content and publish it online these days. It can also be just for you and no one else has to see the content as well. So start creating, you never know you may be the next Stephen Speilberg!

So these are 5 ways of creating original travel souvenirs. Have you done any of these ideas? How do you document your travels?

Three Common Health Conditions Affecting You At Fifty And How To Tackle Them

Looking after your health is critical, no matter your age, location, or occupation. Being mindful of any symptoms that are out of the ordinary and getting them addressed as soon as possible is essential, especially as you get older.

Following the events of the last year, there is no doubt more people are paying attention to their health and considering the ways they can tackle any health conditions they might be experiencing. Read on to discover some of the common health conditions that could affect you in your fifties and how best to tackle them.

Tooth Decay

Having your dental hygiene checked by a professional in the field is something we are brought up to do. At the first sign of pain or changes to your dental habits, book your children to see a pediatric dentist, whether as a scheduled check-up or emergency. This will prevent any lasting damage from happening and get them into good habits in adulthood.

However, according to a dependable dentist in Huntington Park
, there might come a time when you need a dental procedure or implant to compensate for the problem you are encountering. Pure Dentistry provides you with a Brisbane dentist which offers dental implants. Tackle any orthodontal issues you might be experiencing with services like these and more as you go into your 40s, 50s and beyond so you don't have to resort to dentures in your old age.

Osteoporosis Assessment

It is no surprise that your bone density decreases over time. With a multitude of factors contributing to the development of osteoporosis, you must do what you can to minimise your chances of it becoming severe.

Osteoporosis is more commonly found in women than men, especially after going through menopause. The varying levels of hormones can decrease your bone density, along with other things. According to Brisbane City Dentist, optimal calcium intake reduces bone loss and suppresses bone turnover.

Attending an annual bone density assessment and making lifestyle changes based on your results will give you the best possible chance at minimising your chances of experiencing any bone fractures or breaks moving forward.

Heart Disease

A widespread health condition affecting more than two-thirds of the adult Australian population, many people do not realise they are at risk of developing heart disease. As there is not one singular cause for heart disease, it can seem challenging to pinpoint what your risk level is like and what changes you should make to prevent the risks from increasing.

Much like an osteoporosis assessment, you should aim to attend a heart disease assessment annually as you go into your 50s. This enables you to determine your condition while also narrowing down what lifestyle changes you need to make to minimise this risk.

Eating a healthy diet, lowering your alcohol intake, taking exercise and reducing any cigarettes you might be smoking are the recommended methods for lowering your risk of developing heart disease.

While this was a short but sweet piece about common ailments and how to tackle them, I hope it has left you feeling enlightened with what you need to do moving forward. Whether you intend to make one significant lifestyle change or a couple of more minor changes, I feel confident they will make a difference to your overall quality of health in the long run.

Why Friendships Are Important And Win A Friendship Bracelet Ends 08/08

Did you know the 30th of July is World Friendship Day? Since 2011 this has been a day when friendships have been celebrated across the world. Let's have a look at what friendships are really about and how you can win a friendship bracelet with Boutique Of Diamonds. This is an advertorial in conjunction with them, but all words and opinions are my own.

Most of us have several friends but maybe a couple of closer friends that really matter to us, especially as we get older. The friends that we can confide in, are there when you are heartbroken and they know how to be there for someone, even if just to listen. Friends, especially good ones, are invaluable. Friends are all different but ideally, good friends should have these qualities below.

Emotional support

friends

Good friends can help with emotional support. They are the ones that are there and listen to your moans, your worries and are there for you in a crisis. They are there for you day or night. If you have a partner they also provide emotional support but a friendship bond is one that you can be totally yourself, be vulnerable and just let those tears flow without worrying about the mascara rolling down your face.

Boost your confidence

Good friends boost your confidence. They are kind to you, they care for you, they say nice things to you and you know they care. This in turn boosts your confidence and your happiness. If you have friends around you that don't make you happy, are mean to you and drain you in their company, then ditch them, they are not real friends.

Give constructive criticism

Although they love you and are kind to you they are also good at giving constructive criticism, when you ask for it. They can give you another perspective you maybe hadn’t thought of and their criticism isn't destructive because they want what is best for you. Good friends are effective at giving criticism that is helpful, showing you what you can do to improve your situation.

They can make you laugh

Humour is subjective but often good friends make you laugh. Being with them is a joy and you feel uplifted in their company. I have a good friend like this that just exudes joy and it's fun being around her. I always look forward to meeting up with her because she's a brilliant friend and we get each other’s sense of humour.

Give you a sense of belonging and being needed

Friends can make you feel needed and give you that sense of belonging. They become part of your tribe. Of course, friends are all individual and each friend has different strengths so it's good to have a few different friends around you. Friends that you share interests with, that you go to an exercise class with, friends that you went to school with, friends that you met on Facebook, they don't need to be the closest friends to be part of your tribe.

Sometimes we take good friends for granted so why not make a lunch date with them on the 30th of July to celebrate friendships, or give them a gift of a friendship bracelet like the ones above from Boutique Of Diamonds?

On my blog today you have a chance to win a red string diamond friendship bracelet from Boutique Of Diamonds. Priced at £95, this simple and stylish bracelet is easy to wear and will quickly become a favourite piece of jewellery. Entry is easy via the Rafflecopter app. So go and enter and good luck! 6 Ways You Could Be Damaging Your Skin

Most of us want to have nice skin. While many of us want our bodies to be as wrinkle-free as possible, others of us want it to be protected from the environment and blemish-free. However, many of us are sabotaging our skin health in a variety of ways. Let's have a look at the ways you could be damaging your skin and what you can do to improve it.

1. Spending too much time in the sun

woman looking out of window

Spending a little time in the sun is great for restoring vitamin D levels, but more than 45 minutes and you should be covering up or slathering yourself in sunscreen. Even then, if you can avoid being in the full light of the sun, it will do your skin the world of good and help you to avoid fine lines, wrinkles and brown spots as we age. Sun exposure is one of the worst things for your skin, so be careful and consider getting your tan out of a bottle.

2. Not applying enough sunscreen

You might think you use sunscreen so you’re fine, but if you don’t apply enough of it, and you don’t keep topping it up throughout the day, those UV rays are going to wreak havoc on your skin anyway. Apply sunscreen liberally, and keep applying throughout the day if you want to avoid the tell-tale signs of sun damage.

It's also important to use an effective face cream. Use a good Korean skincare moisturizing face cream day and night to provide deep hydration, leave your skin soft and supple, and reduce pigmentation.

3. Smoking

smoking woman

Smokers tend to look older than their non-smoking peers. This is because many of the chemicals found in cigarettes prevent the skin from getting the oxygen and nutrients it needs for that youthful radiant glow. If you smoke, wrinkles, fine lines around the lips and generally bad skin are more likely, so you might want to think about quitting or if you want to make things easy on yourself, switch to vaping instead. All you need is a vape kit including vape coil to get started, and it can also help you quit smoking for good. Don’t let smoking ruin your looks as it ruins your health!

4. Using a harsh cleanser

We all know how important cleansing is to keep our skin clean and flaw-free, but if you’re using the wrong cleanser, you could be doing more harm than good, harsh cleansers like soap can make your skin red, dry and flaky, whereas using an oil-based cleanser can lead to breakouts if you’re prone to oily skin. You may need to try a few out to see which works next for your skin, but please don’t keep using the wrong cleanser because your skin will not thank you for it!

5. Not getting enough sleep

sleeping woman

6. Popping pimples

It can be an almost irresistible urge, but popping your pimples could be doing your skin more harm than good. Why? Because picking and popping are bad for your health. It can lead to facial scarring; it can also introduce bacteria into the area, which is only going to make the problem worse. So, resist the urge and try using a stop treatment from the pharmacy instead.

If you don’t get enough sleep, your skin doesn’t have the chance to rejuvenate and you’re more likely to wake up with dark circles, eye bags or dry skin, so make getting enough sleep a priority because beauty sleep really is a thing.

Are you damaging your skin? Here are some ideas to help you stop the damage.

Lakeland Furniture Stratos Office Chair Review

Working from home, it's so tempting just to work from the sofa, isn't it? Well, that is just what I have been doing. However, if you are in the same situation as me, you may suffer from back pain with no back support. Why not look into getting an office chair so it will be more comfortable and protect your back at the same time? Lakeland Furniture contacted me recently to review one of their office chairs. This is a review in conjunction with Lakeland Furniture but all opinions are my own.

chair in box

The item I was sent from Lakeland Furniture to review was the Stratos office chair in black.  The chair also comes in grey. The chair was sent in a large box and needed to be put together.  I have to admit, I'm not the best at doing things like this, after all, isn't that what husbands are for? So I had the help of Mr W.

putting chair together
The instructions were fairly straightforward and the chair was supplied with an allen key to put it together.

chair being put together

My husband is used to putting furniture together and it took him about half an hour. It may take you longer if you are not used to putting furniture together like him.

fixing chair

Looking at the instructions, I think I could do it myself but I let him get on with it so I could take photos. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking with it!

chair by bookcase

Once assembled the chair looked great. It's made of faux leather, so it has the look of leather but is vegan friendly. I liked the chrome base. That combined with the faux leather material makes it look super smart.  I personally feel It's a timeless design that suits all ages.

chair and desk

Sitting on the chair I was pleased with how comfortable it was. The seat and back are padded and the arms are too so it feels luxurious to sit on. The seat has posture supporting curves for shoulder and lumbar support. It also swivels 360 degree which is useful. You can raise the chair with a gas raise lift so you can adjust it to the correct height.

The price of the Stratos faux leather chair is £119.99. This is a bargain as it's in the sale on the Lakeland Furniture website,  down from £142.99.  I think this is a good price for a chair of this quality.  Now I have an office chair like this I will be able to work in comfort at a table instead of on the sofa. Thus protecting my back too.

Lakeland Furniture sells a range of chairs and furniture for homes and garden. If you are looking for furniture for your home then it's worth checking out their website https://www.lakeland-furniture.co.uk/

Let me know, what do you think of this chair? Do you work from home?

How Can I Overcome My Fear Of Flying?

Flying is still statistically the safest way to travel, but despite this, it is something that definitely causes fear and panic in a lot of the population. It is natural to have a fear of being in a huge metal box in the sky, but it’s important to try not to let a fear of flying stop you from seeing the beauty that the world has to offer.

In order to achieve this and improve your life, you should be trying to work on this and think, ‘What can I do to overcome my fear of flying?’ Now, there are several options to choose from, and it is all about working on a process that is comfortable for you and that is proven to yield results. Here are some of the best ways to overcome your fear of flying, starting right now.

Distract Yourself

plane

Distracting yourself is one of the more effective ways of combating your fear of flying, and this is something that can help you have a smoother and more relaxing journey. There are a lot of ideas that you can implement to keep yourself distracted, and bringing plenty of entertainment with you is certainly going to help you achieve this. Listen to music or a podcast, read a book, watch a movie, do a crossword. There are a lot of great ideas that will help you to distract yourself and reduce your fear factor when flying.

Learn the Facts

Look, it’s true that knowledge isn’t going to remove your fears and doubts, but it can go some way towards helping you manage them. The fear of flying is always the ‘What if?’ angle, and if you eliminate that, it makes things easier to deal with. So, you need to try to do as much as you can to learn the facts and do your research, but you need to be careful. It’s no use Googling 'the number of plane crashes over the past ten years', as this will only heighten fear and anxiety. However learning about how safe planes are, the chances of anything going wrong, and some of the design specs can actually help you when it comes to managing and combatting your fear of flying.

Hypnosis

Wall stickers are inexpensive compared to the other options, and applying them requires little expertise. A cheap and easy alternative they offer a solution to many challenges that the previous alternatives encounter, and they also have their many benefits. So, let’s look at the benefits of using wall stickers for your home decor.

Chic and authentic

world map

If you want your home to match the recent trends in home decoration, then wall stickers are for you. Wall Stickers offer a stylish and fashionable look to a room as well as being customisable. So, if you want your favourite picture on your wall, you can get it. You want your name written stylishly in a specific font, you've got it.

This added option of creativity and personalisation adds to its authenticity. You know for certain that whatever design you have on your wall space, no one else has it elsewhere. It's unique to you with personalisation.

Easy application and removal

One big bonus of wall stickers is the ease of applying and removing them. Almost anyone can apply or remove them effortlessly. All you have to do is peel off the paper on the back and place it on the wall. It is important to clean the wall surfaces before you apply the stickers and let it dry. As you place it on the wall, ensure that it sticks evenly. This takes just a couple of minutes and you have an entirely different room.

Wall stickers are not permanent, so to remove them, just peel them off, and you’re done. This is good news because unlike painting which leaves you with unsatisfied results if you make a mistake, you can easily remove a wall sticker if you don’t like what you see. So whatever the mistake, you have nothing to worry about.

Affordable

There are various alternatives to redecorating your home. You can go for wall art, murals, or even go full scale and give it a fresh coat of paint. None of these options however offer the same level of cost-effectiveness that wall stickers do. Murals and wall art or paintings require a sizable chunk of money, added to the labour that installing them may require.

Wall stickers provide the same artistic effect that you get from murals and wall art, but at a much cheaper price. Unlike other options, wall stickers are also easy to install, requiring little expertise. This has made them popular among businesses and homeowners as well as people who rent who may not be allowed to make permanent changes to the walls.

Variety of choices

Some people will argue that painting also offers a variety of options, however, there are infinitely more choices available in wall stickers. Choices are available based on factors like colours, shades, forms, and patterns. Each of these factors alone offers hundreds of options.

You can get Wall stickers from Apex, Ten Stickers, Love Stickers and others in the UK. These companies offer stickers with fancy patterns and shapes, and with captivating options like photos, impactful and inspiring prints, and even 3D wall stickers. By having so many options, you can easily create different styles for different rooms.

Offer immediate transformations

Wall stickers only take a couple of minutes to install, and once done, it instantly transforms your wall. This is a contrast to paint that takes ages to dry.

The immediate transformation from wall stickers is beneficial for those moments when we impulsively feel like changing the ambience of the room. Another instance might be a situation where you are planning to have visitors and you feel a makeover of the walls is needed.

Non-Invasive

Another benefit of wall stickers is how their installation or removal barely interferes with our day-to-day lives. Painting requires that you move furniture around, and cover it with sheets so your furniture doesn't get covered in paint, or you may even have to remove the furniture entirely from the room.

If it’s the entire house, some people even move out temporarily until the paint dries. There’s also the paint’s smell, which some find unbearable. None of these challenges come in when you choose wall stickers.

Conclusion

Wall stickers allow you to streamline your home decoration. It allows you to switch your home’s appearance with the least hassle. As your taste changes, you can also change the decoration to match your new look. Its customisability and this also lends itself to its appeal as a choice for decoration. However, if you do not want a customised wall sticker, there are thousands of options available that’ll still give you the resulting transformation you seek.

Loft Conversions - What You Need To Know

If you are thinking of a loft conversion there may be many thoughts going through your head. Thoughts about how costly will it be, the potential value to you and your family, how much space you will get and how it will work in practice. After all, a loft conversion is a big job, but it can also have huge benefits to you and your family in the long run. Let's have a look at loft conversions in more depth and what you need to know to decide if you want one in your home.

Can your loft be used?

loft conversion

Firstly you need to check if your loft can be used for conversion. Most lofts can be used however if you live in a conservation area then this may not be an option. Check if you need planning permission,  most properties will not need it but it's worth checking.  You also need to look at the space in your loft, measure it and check if it is big enough for what you want.  The minimum height you need is just over 2.2 metres. A builder or a surveyor can help you check if the space you have is suitable. If you have rafters it's easier to convert than if you have truss support, but it isn't impossible.

What type of room?

A loft conversion easily lends itself to a bedroom but it is also a good idea for an office space or even a bathroom if you have the room. Consider a bath if you have low ceilings instead of a shower. It is worth considering the type of staircases for loft conversions, where the staircase will go and how much space it will take up. Whether it's a winder staircase, a wood staircase or a loft ladder Fontanot shop can help you choose the design.

Do you have the budget?

A loft conversion can be pricey. A very basic loft conversion starts at around £20,000 and can go up to £100,000 and beyond. You may need finance for this or a serious pot of savings. However, you can add to the value of your house if you ever come to sell if you have a loft conversion. So it's definitely a good idea and it has the added benefit of giving you an extra room to live in.

Plan out in advance

apartment

You may have low beams or a small space for the loft conversion so it's a good idea to plan out where your furniture will go in advance. Try to work around the major pieces of furniture and use the light to your best advantage, especially if you are using the loft conversion for an office. Think different types and a mix of lighting too for the best effect. You may need spotlighting and wall lighting if it's an office or more cosy lighting such as uplighters and lamps if it's a bedroom. If you have limited space, multi-functional furniture is a great idea, such as a bed with storage underneath. Make use of wall shelving to clear floor space and space in the eaves to make the area look uncluttered.

Use recommended professionals

If you are planning on using a loft conversion company to do it all for you, or you are using other professionals like a contractor or a builder try to go on personal recommendations. See if you can view work they have done before and read their reviews if you cant get recommendations from people you know. It's also important to get a contract in place so you know who is responsible for what in case anything goes wrong.

As you
can see a loft conversion can really help you make the most of your space. Let me know, would you consider a loft conversion?

girl long hair

First, you should think about cutting time out of your daily morning routine. One of the ways that you can do this is by using dry shampoo instead of washing your hair fully each day. Some of the research out there points to washing your hair each morning can lead to it looking thinner and dryer. Using dry shampoo is a great way of skipping days without having to worry about your hair looking plain, dull, or worse, greasy. It only takes a few minutes to use dry shampoo and get the effect you’re looking for. Perfect when you have limited time in the morning or if you are at a festival.

Diet Right And Water Benefits

It’s worth thinking about the impact that your diet can have on the way you look. Indeed, various research studies have proven time and time again how much of an impact your diet can have on the way your skin looks. A diet full of fruit and vegetables can help your skin look bright and clear. A homemade smoothie with fruit and vegetables can helo you get the nutrients you need. It's also important to drink plenty of fluids during the day. It doesn't have to be water, contra to popular belief though. If you drink about 6-8 large glasses of fluid a day it should do the trick. Water, lower-fat milk and sugar-free drinks, including tea and coffee, all count. Water and other fluids keep your body hydrated and refreshed and helps maintain your skin's elasticity.

Permanent Makeup

Do you constantly find yourself spending hours fixing your makeup, ensuring that it looks perfect? If that’s the case, then you might want to think about exploring permanent makeup. As the name suggests, this is makeup that you don’t have to worry about putting on each day. Instead, it’s permanently on your skin and it’s become incredibly popular as of late. This could be eyeliner, lip liner or permanent eyebrows. The latter is a popular choice. This works like a tattoo and the process of getting permanent makeup is quite similar too. You can check if your local tattoo parlour has permanent makeup supplies that you could benefit from.

Chic Styles

Finally, you should explore a range of chic styles that are easy to master. One example of this would be a pair of jeans matched with a white tee and a pair of fresh trainers or converse. You can adjust this style however you like too. For instance, if it’s a chilly autumn day, then you might want to think about adding a comfy cardigan. Or, instead of jeans, you could opt for a pair of fitted shorts in the summer matched with a white tee that shows just a hint of midriff.

I hope this helps you understand some of the ways that you can ensure that you look great even with a low level of effort. If you take the right steps here, then you’ll never have to worry about your style looking off while also guaranteeing that you don’t have to spend hours on your appearance.
