  8. My tip for making make up last all day long is to find the right primer for you, bearing in mind that more expensive doesn't always mean better.

  9. When I used to wear make-up everday for work, I used to use Beauty Flash Balm, which helped keep my make-up looking good for long hours. There are lots of primers on the market, but this was one of the first and one I personally prefer.

  11. I don't know how I do it, I wear high street brands, but they stay on all day, and eye make-up has even lasted through tears at work! I think it's credit to the quality of high street brands these days!

  12. I have to look good for over 12 hrs on a hot hospital ward, so I put foundation on first then powder over the top. I put eye shadow on my brows, eyeshadow as the first layer of eyeliner, then i put eyeliner on. Several coats of mascara and 2 layers of eyeshadow and this lasts all day!!

  13. I put foundation on first then poweder to give a good base for the rest of the makeup, this lasts all day on a 12hr shift on a hot hospital ward.

  14. Using a primer under eye shadow seems to really help it last well (too well sometimes and I struggle to take it off in the evening! )

  16. I like to use a setting spray which helps keeps you fresh and hydrated. It can be used again during the day so I love these sprays

  21. Choose when and where to wear makeup :- Occasion, appropriateness. Make use of waterproof products. Consider the quality of products used, quality matters and makes a difference.

  29. face prep is the key, wash your face with cold water and make sure you use the right moisturiser for your skin (with a high spf is the best!).
