Martha Jackson Jewellery is a Bristol based boutique jewellery company, founded in 2014, that provides beautiful, high quality jewellery inspired by nature. Martha Jackson is run by Marcus Pearce, a jewellery designer and manufacturer with over 15 years experience in the business and is name after his children, Martha and Jackson.
From 1 April 2015, Martha Jackson will begin a month long campaign to pay homage to the April Showers which produce beautiful May flowers. Taking inspiration from the quote,
“Sweet April showers, do spring May flowers” Thomas Tusser, 1524-1580.
The April Showers collection is pretty, and girlie, full of blossom, forget me not, rose and primrose designs, in fact exactly like the jewellery I personally wear. I was therefore really pleased when I was asked to be one of Martha Jackson's jewellery bloggers, but what jewellery to pick from all the choice? After browsing the website at some length, I decided to choose the contemporary rose necklace and matching earrings.
When the jewellery arrived it was packaged in cute Martha Jackson branded boxes and wrapped carefully in tissue. I was also sent the April Shower earrings as well to review as a little addition to my order.
The April Shower earrings are again contemporary in design, with a liquid metal effect. I think they are a great size, not too big or too small, with a 2 cm drop. These earrings are very versatile due to the simple styling and size you could wear these earrings every day or on a night out.

The contemporary rose necklace is simple but pretty and modern in design. The silver curb chain is 45 cm in length and adjustable from 42 to 45 cm, if you like a slightly shorter chain. The matching earrings are dainty at just under 1cm in length but ever so pretty. The quality of the both items at this price is impressive, the chain is not too thin, the clasp is strong and the earring backs are secure. At only £27 for a matching set of silver jewellery I really think you can't go wrong, and I personally feel this would make a great gift for someone.
