JP Designs are a small husband-and-wife studio based in the UK. Their wall art designs are made in 3D relief. Each piece is sculpted so the artwork stands raised off the background, then finished in gold or silver leaf. Everything is made to order, and bespoke pieces are lovingly designed and sculpted from a photo that the customer sends in. Before anything is made, the customer is sent a design preview to ensure that they are happy with the work. This gives you peace of mind that the finished design will be perfect. It then gets shipped fully framed and ready to hang.
Most people come to JP Designs to turn a favourite photo of a pet or a loved one into something for the wall.
My Custom Pet Portrait of Rocci
JP Designs’ custom pet portraits caught my eye because they offer something a little different from a traditional painted or printed pet portrait.
My mum has two dogs, Ruby, a spaniel, and Rocci, a Pomeranian cross. I decided to have a portrait of Rocci made as a special gift for her.
I chose one of my favourite photographs of Rocci and sent it to JP Designs.
The ordering process was really straightforward and could be completed online. Within a few days, I received the design proof to review.
Once I was happy with the design, JP Designs created the artwork and sent it out beautifully framed and ready to display.
What Did We Think of the Finished Artwork?
My mum was absolutely delighted with her present, and we both thought the finished pet portrait was gorgeous.
The 3D relief effect makes the artwork particularly unusual. When the light catches the raised detail, you can see the relief shimmering, which gives the piece an extra dimension and makes it really stand out on the wall.
The finished portrait now has pride of place in my mum’s home and is a lovely reminder of a much-loved family pet.
I also think it would make a wonderful personalised pet gift for someone who has recently lost a beloved pet or simply wants to celebrate their four-legged friend.
Gold or Silver Pet Portraits
The artwork is available with either gold or silver relief, allowing you to choose an option that works with your home décor.
I think these pieces would look particularly stylish in a living room, hallway or bedroom, either displayed on their own or alongside family photographs and other artwork.
Because each piece is made to order, it feels much more personal than simply buying something from a shop.
