  1. Wow this looks sooo good, I wonder if I can make a vegetarian version - nice challenge. I love how all the wine and juices mix together - slow cooking is the best :)

    Laura x

    1. That would be interesting Laura, I guess you could use Quorn steaks?

  2. I still haven't gotten my slow cooker out of the box :( You make me want to with all of these lovely recipes though!

    1. Get it out now Erika! Seriously! It makes meat so delicious and tender and stews so flavoursome.

  3. I love slow cooker dishes - just set them off the night before, or in the morning, and dinner's there ready and waiting when tummies are rumbling. Could this be made without the wine for those who can't tolerate alcohol? I know it's Coq au Vin - so without the Vin it would just be....well, erm... I wonder if there would be another way to emulate the richness it adds? Great recipe though, thank you
    Love Vicky

    1. If you didn't want to use wine I would use chopped tomatoes or why not try alcohol free wine?

  4. i love cooking in the slow cooker but have to admit im not very adventurous i will start doing more , and as a lover of duck i think i will give this one a go , thank you :)

  5. My two favourite ingredients, i will be giving this try in the new slow cooker my son got us for xmas. It looks amazing. X

  6. I've been looking to buy a slow cooker. I'm not a massive fan of duck, but that could be due to the fact I've never cooked it myself. Great recipe.
