Oorla has always been creative and had a love of art ever since she can remember. Since completing her art degree she's worked with children and adults in a primary setting, imparting her passion and love of art. Inspired by the natural world and forms in pattern and texture, her jewellery is feminine, pretty and dainty, and since she set up Oorla Jewellery her company has gone from strength to strength.
All pieces are lovingly handmade in her little studio near Hampton Court or at the Art Shed in The Medicine Garden in Cobham.
Recently her jewellery has been taking a vintage feel. Think charm like pendants, such as open hearts, lovebirds, horses and carousels, with intricate detailing and tiny sparkling gemstones.
How super is this piece of jewellery I was sent? The craftsmanship is stunning.
Vintage carousel pendant £85
The horses even rotate like a proper carousel. The dainty peridot, ruby and amethyst gemstones add a splash of colour and the gold diamante ball adds a touch of glam. I also love the silver ball chain. You don't often find pendants on this style of chain as curb chains are more often the norm, so this adds a different touch.
Another beautiful range is The Daisy Collection. Little silver daisies adorn sterling silver pendants and bracelets and freshwater pearls and moonstones are some of the delightful features of this range.
Today on my blog I am giving away a cute daisy pendant. The daisy is a symbol of innocence and sweetness and this pretty pendant is adorned with small rock crystals.
