Saving Money With tastecard - Dining And Entertainment Discounts For All

Most of us are watching the pennies at the moment with the cost of living crisis. I know I am! One of the ways you can save money if you love food and enjoy going out is with tastecard. This is a post in collaboration with tastecard but all words and opinions are my own.

What Is tastecard?

tastecard is a membership program that provides various benefits and discounts at participating restaurants and eateries. You sign up for a nominal amount and use the app or website to book a deal.  At the moment you can have a 60 day trial for £1 so it can be a fabulous way to try it out. After this deal, the price for a yearly membership is £34.99. While specific benefits may vary based on the region and the offers at any given time, here are some potential benefits that users can enjoy.

Dining Discounts

tastecard offers its members exclusive discounts, such as 2 for 1 meals or 50% off the total bill, at a wide range of partner restaurants. This can result in significant savings for everyone. For example, my closest big city is Cardiff and there are numerous offers on dining discounts in Cardiff. A number of the big chains are there such as Zizzi, Cafe Rouge, and Burger King as well as a number of independent restaurants. My favourite is Ask Italian, I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there and the prawns are delicious!. Check out the Cardiff restaurant deals here.

Restaurant Variety

tastecard collaborates with a diverse selection of restaurants, including popular chains, and independent restaurants as mentioned above but they also work with takeaways and fine dining establishments. This provides members with a wide range of dining options to choose from, allowing them to explore new places or get great deals at their favourite places at reduced prices.

Cost Savings

By taking advantage of the discounts offered through tastecard, members can save money on their overall dining expenses. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals or families who dine out frequently, as the savings can quickly add up over time. Using your tastecard you can really treat the family to that much needed meal out at the end of a hard week at school, college or work.

Flexibility

tastecard often offers flexible membership options, allowing members to choose between monthly or annual subscriptions. This allows users to tailor their membership to their specific needs and budget, ensuring they can enjoy the benefits without being locked into a long-term commitment.

Online Delivery Discounts

In addition to discounts at physical restaurants, some tastecard memberships may also provide discounts or exclusive offers for online food delivery services such as Dominos, Pizza Hut and Pappa John's. This enables members to enjoy savings on takeout or food delivery orders placed through partnered platforms. We as a family enjoy Dominos so having this perk was great for us. We saved 50% off a Dominos delivery with tastecard as we spent over £30, so you have got nothing to lose!

Other Deals And Discounts

As well as great dining deals, tastecard offers fabulous discounts on cinema tickets. These deals typically include Odeon, Vue and Cineworld and more and offers save you a big chunk of the box office price. We all know cinema tickets are expensive these days so anything that makes this more affordable is very welcome. As well as cinema tickets members get discounts on days out too at places such as Alton Towers and SEA LIFE Centres, as well as theatre tickets for a variety of shows. Also, you can get 25% off 1000s of coffee shops, including Caffè Nero, with free access to Coffee Club, so cheap drinks for all too.

Events and Offers

tastecard occasionally organises events, competitions, or promotions exclusively for its members. This can include special dining experiences, prize draws, or additional discounts on specific occasions, providing added value to the membership

It's important to note that specific benefits and participating restaurants can change over time, so it's recommended to check the official tastecard website or app for the most up-to-date information on available discounts and offers.

As you can see it's worth looking into the money you can save with tastecard and with the £1 signing up offer for 60 days, you can try it out with minimum risk. Let me know, would you try tastecard?

The Ivy Cardiff An OpenTable Review

AD. Recently I was invited to a campaign with OpenTable. To review a restaurant of my choice booked through the OpenTable website. I paid for the meal myself and the restaurant was not aware I was visiting.

In the centre of Cardiff in St David's Centre is The Ivy Cardiff. Part of the popular chain there is now 37 Ivy grills, cafes and brasseries in the UK.

The Ivy Cardiff

The restaurant chain originally started as a celebrity restaurant in London but it has grown through the years. The restaurant in Cardiff is in the Hayes area and well situated being close to major stores like John Lewis. The closest parking is either at John Lewis or in the St David's car park.

Specials board

The restaurant has a small outdoor seating area and two floors inside. There are lots of plants and flowers outside and when you enter the building the staff warmly greet you and take you to your table. Booking is recommended as it can get very busy inside. I booked for a weekday lunch and there wasn't many tables free downstairs.

Inside-The-Ivy-Cardiff

The building itself is open plan and is beautifully decorated in an Art Deco style, from the sign outside to the menu and the blanquette seating.

mains

The menu has similar dishes all year round which does not change, as well as seasonal specials. You can get a decent steak, as well as classics like fish and chips and shepherd's pie. For the more adventurous among you, there are dishes like aromatic duck curry and lobster linguine. They do also have a vegan and vegetarian menu with dishes such as wild mushroom and truffle linguine, and Keralan sweet potato curry.  It was nice to see more vegetarian and vegan options than an uninspiring vegetable lasagne.

We were also given a set lunch menu with two courses for £17.95 and three for £22.95. This menu had dishes such as tomato and basil soup, steak chips and egg, seabream and sticky toffee pudding. We decided to stick with the main menu but before that the drinks.

non-alcoholic

Our server was Marina, she explained the lunch menu, and the specials, which included grilled sea bass fillet and a roast fillet of beef. There was an interesting selection of non alcoholic mocktails so we ordered some.

cocktails

Pictured above are the drinks we ordered, the Elderflower Garden (£6.95) and the Movie Star Martini (£6.95). The Elderflower Garden was perfect if you want something not too sweet and refreshing. Made from Seedlip Garden 108 (a herbal blend), Acorn dry non-alcoholic aperitif, elderflower cordial, and Fever Tree tonic, it was refreshing and slightly bitter. You could taste the cucumber in it. If you like gin-based cocktails but don't want the alcohol this would be perfect.

The Movie Star Martini was a delicious mocktail made with pineapple juice, lime, fresh passion fruit and passion fruit syrup. It came with a shot of Fever Tree white grape and apricot soda. The passionfruit really came through with this mocktail. This is the perfect mocktail if you want a fruity cocktail without alcohol.

souffle
For starters, my husband ordered the twice-baked cheese souffle (£8.95) with consisted of gratinated Caerphilly cheese with grated black truffle and a cream sauce. The cheese souffle smelt very cheesy and he was worried it would be too rich, but he did enjoy it and commented it had a good cheese flavour and was very light.

blackened cod

chicken milanese

For mains, I had the blackened cod fillet (£18.95) baked in a banana leaf with soy marinade, citrus-picked fennel, grilled broccoli, chilli and yuzu mayonnaise, with a side accompaniment of jasmine rice (£3.75) with toasted coconut and coriander. My husband the chicken Milanese with a brioche crumbed chicken breast, with a fried egg, parmesan and truffle cream sauce, with a side of truffle and parmesan chips.

The blackened cod had a sticky sweet marinade that reminded me of a lighter teriyaki sauce with a hint of chilli. I'm not normally a fan of fennel but it wasn't overpowering, the tenderstem broccoli was chargrilled and the Yuzu mayonnaise added some creaminess to the dish. You could really taste the coconut in the fragrant jasmine rice too. Altogether a light dish that any fish lover would enjoy.

The chicken Milanese (£18.50) had a lovely crust that was really tasty and well seasoned.  The fried egg and parmesan truffle sauce added a great richness. Personally, I think the truffle and parmesan chips stood out as they were simply delicious with big truffle shavings on the top.

Both of these dishes did need the sides we ordered. I think it would be better value if the dishes had come with a side. We were too full to order a dessert but there is a choice from creme brulee to tiramisu and apple tart fine. I've had the apple tart before and would highly recommend it, as it is flambeed at your table with calvados, a brandy made from apples. It is a great show seeing it flambeed at your table and is sweet and delicious.

decor

The Ivy in Cardiff is beautifully decorated and feels like a real occasion restaurant.

toilet

Even the women's toilet is beautiful as seen above.

Although it's not an independent restaurant it really feels like the Ivy delivers on food and service. Service is efficient, the food was delivered promptly and the dishes were really delicious. If you are visiting for your birthday it is worth mentioning it as it appeared as if you get a complimentary dessert, and reviews on Tripadvisor seem to confirm this. It's not a cheap restaurant but sometimes you get what you pay for. We definitely recommend visiting The Ivy Cardiff when you want a meal in Cardiff city centre.

Check out some of the other Cardiff restaurants on OpenTable as well as some of the South Wales restaurants. I have always found OpenTable a convenient and easy way to book a restaurant meal. Let me know, have you been the any of The Ivy restaurants?

My Favourite Restaurant Chains In Cardiff

We live about 20 miles from Cardiff and visit on a frequent basis, and when we go shopping there we like to eat out. The centre of Cardiff has a number of decent restaurants and although independent restaurants can be hard to find, there are some fantastic chain restaurants in the city centre. If you are visiting Cardiff for the first time or just want to try somewhere different check out my favourite restaurant chains in Cardiff where you will always have a great meal.

Las Iguanas

Las Iguanas is situated on Mill Lane in Cardiff city centre. A Latin American restaurant serving South American and Mexican food, the decor inside is bright and vibrant. The food is authentic and to be honest some of the best Latin American and Mexican food I have had, even when I travelled around New Mexico earlier in the year. Menu choices include appetisers such as nachos and tacos and main course including burrito bowls, Gaucho steak and Dominican goat curry.

The lamb empanada I chose when I went last was really delicious. A crispy pastry turnover hid a filling of lightly spiced lamb and onions in a rich tomato sauce. What I did like was that the pastry was light and non-greasy, and when served with a sweet salsa dipping sauce it really hit the spot

I also ordered a bowl of beef chilli. The beef chilli was one of the best chillis I had ever had. A really flavourful bowl of hearty chilli, hiding a layer of steamed rice and crunchy spring onions underneath.  The beef was tender and delicious, the chilli not too spicy but still had a kick of heat. It felt like a homemade dish based on traditional recipes. They ask what flavour butter you want for the top, and this can vary in heat. Served with a good size chunk of warm cornbread, this is a dish to have if you are hungry.

Book a table here with Las Iguanas. In summary, Las Iguanas is a good solid choice in Cardiff, and worth a visit if you like authentic South American food. They also have a happy hour with 2 for 1 cocktails which is worth checking out.

Bistrot Pierre

Bistrot Pierre again is in the centre of Cardiff in Caroline Street. It's a restaurant I go back to time and time again as their menu is well priced for the quality of the food. I love the fact that it is consistently good time and time again. I'm also a member of their reward scheme 'Mon Pierre Rewards' which give you points every time you dine and rewards you with free food. The decor inside this branch is unstated and chic and the staff are always welcoming and well trained.

One of the dishes I really like is the poulet printanier. This dish is made up of chicken breast pan-fried and served with a rich mushroom, asparagus, pea and tarragon sauce. Topped with a drizzle of truffle oil, it really is a satisfying dish. All the lunch dishes are accompanied with your choice of complimentary potatoes and seasonal vegetables, salad or pommes frites as well so you won't go hungry.

For dessert, I can highly recommend the frangipane. I've had this dish a number of times and it really is delicious. A light pear and almond sponge hides a layer of raspberry sauce. Decorated with almonds and pistachios adding some crunch and served with cream, this dish really is a delight.

Bistrot Pierre is an excellent choice if you like French bistro food, and they have 20 locations nationwide too, so it's worth checking out if there is one near you.

The Stable

The Stable Pizza is a restaurant chain covering - you guessed it, pizza! Situated in Bridge Street, close to one of the entrances of St Davids 2 shopping centre, it's a casual restaurant serving simple food well made. They have an excellent priced lunch menu at £6.50 too, and they are also known for their speciality ciders.

When I last went the menu had a good selection of pizzas from classic margaritas to local specials like the 'Trealy Farm Streaker', This pizza was topped with Monmouthshire bacon, field mushrooms, fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella and a free-range egg. They also serve a selection of tasty salads and scrumptious pies every day. My husband tried the 'Fiery Dragon' pizza above. A pizza topped with spicy chopped pork, naga chillies, garlic, red onion, basil leaves, field mushrooms, fresh tomato sauce and mozzarella. It was very good and yes it was very spicy too!

Puddings include an excellent chocolate brownie served with thick cream. My son enjoyed every mouthful of this, and I managed to nab a taste. It was served warm and it was gooey and moreish.

The Stable also serves a good selection of vegan food, so it's a great choice if you are following a vegan diet. If you are looking for a casual restaurant close to St Davids 2 shopping centre you can do no wrong in the centre of Cardiff.

So as you can see Cardiff has some great restaurant chains. Have you been to any of these restaurant chains near you? Check out restaurants you can book near you with Bookatable.

Planet Hollywood Review Disneyland Paris

In the heart of Disney Village, the dining and shopping complex next to Disneyland Paris is Planet Hollywood. This well-known restaurant chain lights up the sky with its neon signs and is packed full of movie memorabilia spanning two floors. As it was my son Jake's birthday when we were visiting Disneyland Paris recently, I decided to take him there and reached out to Planet Hollywood. This meal was complimentary and all opinions are my own.

We had timed it just right as we just made it to the restaurant around 7pm before everyone left the park after fireworks. We were taken to our seat, and we had a good view of the room, overlooking the balcony.

Our server was great, unfortunately, we didn't catch his name but he had a London accent.

The dishes were a mix of the usual American / Tex-Mex food including burgers and steaks as well as salads, pasta and pizzas. I was impressed there was a gluten-free menu available so this is a good place to come if you follow a gluten-free diet.

First, we ordered a coke float, which Jake enjoyed and just some water for me.

For starters, Jake and I decided to share the nachos. On the menu, it said it was big enough to share between 2 to 3 of you and I must admit it was big!

They describe it as ' crispy corn tortillas piled high with shredded cheese served with pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream. '

What we liked about the nachos was that the tortillas were warm and tasted fresh.  The toppings, however, were not as good as they could have been, The pico de gallo didn't have a lot of flavour and needed some seasoning and the cheese was super mild which was a shame. It just needed some zing, perhaps a topping of chillis would have helped.  If you have kids that don't like strong flavours though they would enjoy it.

For mains, I ordered the sirloin steak whilst Jake ordered the salmon teriyaki. Unfortunately, the salmon had run out so Jake went with the steak and prawn surf and turf combo instead. Jake's sirloin steak was described as '28-day grass-fed beef, chargrilled to order with a side of shrimps in a creole mustard sauce, mashed potatoes or fries and ratatouille.' Mine was the same without prawns.

Our steaks came out overcooked. Jake enjoyed his and said it was juicy, I ordered mine medium to well and it was very well done, no juiciness at all and dry. I do normally order it medium but heard that in France it often comes out rarer but this was not the case here.

The fries were a mix of normal fries and curly fries, some with seasoning, some without. I think it would be better if they were all the same. The ratatouille served with it needed some seasoning and something to uplift the flavour. The prawns with Jake's dish were lovely though, nice and juicy with a hint of coriander. The creole mustard sauce was not overpowering, and only had a hint of mustard.

After our main courses I went to look at the movie memoribilia.
I was impressed with the model of Arnold Swazenneger from the film Terminator. There was a couple of cool models around the restaurant.

This was a model from the film Dracula, Gary Oldman played this character. A cool model if you have seen the film.

For dessert, we were getting pretty full but I managed to squeeze in a dessert plate of mini desserts called the Cafe Gourmand.

The Cafe Gourmand was very good. It consisted of raspberry sorbet which had a good sharpness, a mini Toblerone dessert cheesecake in a shot glass, a chocolate brownie and an espresso.  The Toblerone dessert was especially scrumptious and the chocolate brownie was rich and decadent, all topped off with crunchy balls of chocolate.

The icing on the cake, so to speak, was when the dessert came out with a sparkler in it and the staff sang Happy Birthday to Jake. They then showed him on the big screen in the restaurant whilst announcing his birthday. I don't think Jake will ever speak to me again but it did make me laugh, and he took it in good humour. It's good to know they will help you celebrate a birthday like this.

Then it was time to ask for the bill. Although the meal was complimentary it would have come to 80 Euros.

To sum it up, Planet Hollywood is a cool restaurant experience for movie lovers. It would be great to see some new movie merchandise added and I think this is the plan in the future to update the restaurant. Whilst the food wasn't perfect, the desserts were a real highlight, the service was good and the food came quickly.  They also have a store attached where you can buy movie themed merchandise.

Bistrot Pierre Cardiff - Spring Menu Review And Get A Free Drink

Ok, I'll confess, I am a bit of a fan of the French restaurant chain Bistrot Pierre.  I've eaten at a few of their branches and they are head and shoulders above the rest of their competitors for the quality of food and the prices. Last year I reviewed the Swansea Bistrot Pierre in Mumbles, so I was excited to be invited to try out the new Spring menu range in their Cardiff branch last week.  Read on to find out what I thought and to get a free drink with your meal!

The Cardiff branch is just off the Hayes, on Caroline Street (affectionately known as 'chip alley' to the locals). Don't let that put you off though as the addition of this restaurant adds a touch of class to the area.

The restaurant is understated and tastefully designed inside and service is pleasant, attentive but certainly not stuffy.

My son and I were welcomed by Erica our server and shown to our table. Bistrot Pierre like to focus on seasonal ingredients and great value French cooking and the menu reflected that.

We ordered from the A La Carte Spring Menu see below and chose the Salade de canard and the Calamars. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and my son a coke. There was a selection of about 40 choices of wine, including champagne, almost all available by the glass as well as by the bottle.

My Calamars (squid) was perfect. It wasn't overcooked and rubbery, instead, it was easy to cut into, coated in a mildly spiced batter and melted in the mouth. Served with garlic aioli I devoured it in no time. A very good dish.

My son really raved about the Vietnamese duck salad and said it was similar to Cantonese crispy duck but without the pancakes! Crunchy, crispy duck with yielding duck meat underneath, rested on a thin julienne of Asian vegetables.  A smattering of sesame seeds and hints of five spice, chilli and coriander made this a dish packed full of flavour.  A great start to our meal.

For our mains, my son ordered the 9 oz Entrecote or rib eye steak and I ordered the Poulet printanier, a chicken dish with a creamy tarragon and mushroom sauce.

The steak wasn't as good as expected.  Unfortunately, It tasted as if it was not seasoned and was gristly. The herb butter didn't add anything to the dish and made it greasy. The fries, however, were crispy, light and very good. My son has had steak here before and has never complained about it previously, so I just think it was an off day for this dish.

The latter dish, poulet printanier, was new on the Spring menu - pan-fried chicken breast sliced and served in a rich sauce of mushrooms, peas, asparagus and tarragon.  You could really taste the mushrooms in this dish and this was further enhanced with the addition of yummy truffle oil adding an earthy flavour. The tarragon really shone through as well. A good dish and one well worth ordering on the Spring menu.

In Bistrot Pierre, most mains come with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables unless otherwise stated, and the vegetables were seasoned and drizzled with butter. The baby roast potatoes were incredibly tasty. I think they are cooked in olive oil, and you get a great flavour but they aren't crispy like traditional roasties, just a note if you are expecting them to be.

At this point, we were both full, but I couldn't resist dessert!

We ordered the Mousse au chocolat and the Frangipane.

The chocolate mousse very good indeed. Rich and smooth and made of the best Valrhona chocolate, it was topped with small crunchy balls of chocolate that added a nice texture to the dessert. It had a slight orange taste but the waitress asked the chef and it didn't contain any. Odd but delicious all the same.

I've had the frangipane before and just couldn't resist ordering again as I remembered how great it was. A light sponge flavoured with pear and almonds, with a secret thrilling raspberry layer. It comes covered in cream and decorated with almonds and pistachios, adding a nice crunch. This frangipane pudding really is a delight and totally moreish and is one of my favourite dishes on the menu. If you like puddings I urge you to order this - you won't be disappointed.

At this point, we were full to bursting so declined the cheese course and any further drinks.

We really enjoyed our meal at Bistrot Pierre Cardiff. It was very good indeed the only slight disappointment being the steak.  What I like about the menu is that there is always a decent selection for those that don't eat red meat, like my husband.  Chicken and fish is always featured on the menu, with a couple of vegetarian options, and usually a pork dish too.

The Spring A La Carte menu has a wide range of dishes and they also do a Spring Prix-Fixe (fixed price) evening menu with any two courses for £14.95, which I feel for food of this quality is a bargain.  The lunch menu has two courses for £11.95 and three for £13.95 which is also a great deal.

The chain also has a groovy Bistrot Pierre app, that allows you to collect points towards a free drink, starter, main course or even two-course meal. I do have this on my phone and it's surprising how fast the points add up. At present they will give you 1000 points if you download the app (which is a free one-course lunch or breakfast), but do check out the website to see if this offer is still valid.  I was so pleased to be given a free carafe of wine on my birthday, just for having the app!

For my readers today that visits any Bistrot Pierre, and there are 24 around the country, I am giving you something free too! When you order a main course you can claim a complimentary 175ml glass of house wine, a bottle of beer or soft drink.

Print off code LBPBWCKJ and hand it to your server when you dine quoting 'blogger free drink voucher'. Check out the terms and conditions here, valid until 20th July 2018.

Tell me, do you like French bistro food? Would you give Bistrot Pierre a try?

Saray Turkish Restaurant Review Cardiff

Unless you've been to Turkey or are Turkish you may have similar preconceptions to me of Turkish cuisine, that it is all reformed meat kebabs in pitta bread. Well, I have to put my hands up and admit I was wrong.

Last week I was invited to a cookery class at the Saray Turkish restaurant in City Road Cardiff.

Saray opened in 2015 and have been proudly serving Turkish food since then. Their motto is 'everything from scratch, fresh and delicious'. The meaning of the word Saray is 'palace'. Throughout history, Saray's have always been a place of getting together and sharing different cuisines.

I was joined by my friend Kacie Morgan from The Rare Welsh Bit and Charlie from High Street Beauty Junkie

The lovely Selma

We were met by the very sweet Selma, who part owns the business and Kelly the lovely PR lady. My first taste of Saray's Turkish hospitality was a cup of Turkish tea in a pretty cup. Everyone who comes here gets tea as a form of welcome. For some reason I expected it to be strong and distinctive like Turkish coffee but it was a like a black version of our English breakfast tea - refreshing all the same!

The restaurant is large inside and modern. I was impressed how clean it looked, which is always a good sign.

The menu was well priced, with starters such as hummus from £3. There were many dishes on the menu that I liked the look of. A felafel starter at £3.50 sounded tasty and there was a dish of calamari on the menu at £4 which I thought was a bargain. Of the main courses, the grilled whole chicken marinated in a special sauce caught my eye, as well as the kleftiko, a traditional Turkish dish which is a shank of lamb in a rich vegetable sauce.  Good to see a variety of vegetarian and vegan options too like a tasty sounding vegetable moussaka.

We were here to make our own lunch, so without further ado, we put on our aprons and our hats and donned our gloves to make the first dish - Adana Kebabs.

Jihat our chef

Jihat was our chef. He showed us patiently how to make the kebabs and then let us have a go making them ourselves.

The kebabs they make here are made of good quality minced lamb, chopped onion, diced red pepper, salt, chilli flakes and parsley. They are moulded carefully on skewers then grilled for 4-6 minutes until browned all over. Doesn't that sound easy to make? Well, I can tell you, it was trickier than you would think! You need a little bit of oil on your hands to form the kebabs and it's important to have lamb with a little fat to make the kebabs moist when cooking.

Then onto the Pide bread. Pide is a delicious Turkish flatbread that has an array of toppings and is baked in a stone oven.

The bread base is made in-house in a traditional way.

This bread dough base was first topped with spinach and cheddar cheese and folded on the edges to get a crimped effect.

Then we made some with different toppings including lamb and chicken.

Kacie from the Rare Welsh Bit

As you can see Pide is the perfect portable dish, with some similarities to a pizza. Great to share with friends or not, depending on how hungry you are. It's a light and delicious dish for sure.

Then it was time to sit down and taste our creations as well as try a selection of mezze, lots of small dishes and dips to share. We had hummus which is a favourite of mine - a chickpea, garlic and olive oil dip, tzatziki - which is yoghurt mixed with cucumber, mint, salt and garlic and babagannus - a dish with aubergine, peppers, tomatoes, olive oil and seasonings with an interesting smokey flavour.

When all the food came at once, it really was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Everything looked super fresh and inviting.

The Adana Kebabs were really very good indeed! They didn't have a strong lamb flavour, instead, the chilli gave the kebabs a nice bit of spice and the seasoning meant the kebabs was well flavoured. They also were not greasy at all, the fat in the meat helping to keep the kebabs moist.

To finish we had Kadayif, the most indulgent treat of shredded filo pastry with pistachio nuts, soaked in a honey syrup. If you've had ever had baklava it is very similar and equally as delicious.  I must admit, this was a favourite of mine and I had two!

The food at the Saray Turkish restaurant was a total surprise to me, fresh, flavourful, tasty and utterly delicious and not a reformed meat kebab in sight. With a variety of dishes for meat eaters and vegetarians, you can do no wrong if you ventured here for a meal out in Cardiff. Good, honest, Turkish cuisine, packed full of flavour and served with smiles. Recommended.
