If you walk a lot you will know this brand. I am a member of a Disney and Florida website and people are obsessed with footwear, but not any footwear, specifically the best footwear for exploring the theme parks. The type of footwear that won't give you blisters. The footwear that looks stylish but is still comfortable at the same time. Time and time again the footwear of choice is Skechers.
What is so special about Skechers?
You may wonder what is so special about the Skechers brand. Well Skechers are known for a range of casual shoes, trainers, sandals and boots with the emphasis on quality, style, affordability, and most importantly comfort.
A selection of the GOWalk range
Quality - Skechers footwear are well made and last.
Style - New designs are released each season in a range of fashionable colours as well as the 'old faithfuls' - black and navy.
Affordability - Prices range from £25 upwards, and for this quality and design this is great value for money.
Comfort - Each design is thought out carefully with comfort and performance in mind.
The three main ranges are the walking (GOWalk series), the running (GORun series) and the specific ladies range, Flex Appeal. As I have only worn the GOWalk trainers I will talk about these.
The GOWalk series
Comfort cannot be denied - especially with the GOWalk series. A mixture of a casual shoe mixed with a sports shoe, you will feel like you are walking on air with the Sketcher GOWalk.
This range of walking shoes are supremely comfortable and lightweight, in fact so comfortable they market them as "The ultimate super sock". The shoe flexes and moves with your foot. Independent circular GOimpulse sensors offer flexibility and feedback for a more responsive walking experience. There is an integrated OrtholiteTM anti-microbial sock liner to inhibit odour and prevent slippage. There is plenty of room in the top of the show to allow your toes to spread, grip and push off and the midsole is lightweight and provides just the right amount of impact absorption.
What I like about the GOWalk is that they look like normal trainers or canvas style shoes but only you will know how well they are made for that comfort you feel. Once tried on, you will never go back to other walking shoes again.

I'm not just talking the talk here, as about two months ago I bought a pair of Skechers for a trip to the US in the near future. I've worn them a few times and yes, they are great quality with no uneven stitching, and yes, they look super sleek and stylish (all in black), and yes, the price was good. The most important question is - were they comfortable? Hell Yeah!
My comfy Skechers
You can buy Skechers at Brantano as well as other good shoe retailers. Tell me, what do you think of the Skechers brand?
